Dominic Colenso knows a thing or two about the highs and lows of performance. By the time he was 26 he had flown a Thunderbird, lost one million dollars and been fired by Simon Cowell.
A successful professional actor, best known for playing Virgil Tracy in the 2004 Hollywood film Thunderbirds, he has appeared alongside some of the UK’s most famous performers. Getting lost at sea, recording a Bette Midler cover with Westlife’s producer, escaping from a Venezuelan prison and even playing Prince Andrew, were all in a day’s work.
Exciting? Yes! - but Dominic discovered his true passion when he was asked to give acting masterclasses at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, helping the stars of tomorrow to unlock their potential. The simple techniques he taught gave a massive boost to the young actor’s confidence and the impact that they made on stage.
This inspired Dominic to set up his own company, In Flow Training, so that he could share this practical and transformational methodology with a wider audience. He now works with businesses around the world to help individuals, teams and leaders take centre stage and deliver outstanding performances.
"Dominic delivered a fabulously energising presentation on communicating with impact. His speech involved activities which were fun and inspired every one of us to actively and willingly engage with each other enthusiastically. I learnt some fantastic new techniques which I have already adopted at work"
"You know when the speaker is good when he has 30 newly qualified accountants all up out of their seats and asking each other “are you looking at me” in a Robert De Niro manner. Dominic has a great style which provided some very useful and actionable tips for our new ACCA members "
